Wie schon die ersten beiden Cover finde ich auch das letze in der Reihe einfach schön. Insgesamt sehr schlicht und doch ein Eye-Catcher.
Über das Buch
Lila hat sich an ihr Leben bei den Sinclairs gewöhnt, Freunde und Familie gewonnen und gesteht sich auch endlich ihre Gefühle für Devon ein. Doch ihr Glück wird schnell überschattet, denn der skrupellose Victor Draconi schmiedet finstere Pläne um die alleinige Herrschaft über Cloudburst Falls endgültig an sich zu reißen.
Erzählt wird auch der letzt Teil der Geschichte aus der Ich-Perspektive von Lila Merriweather. Ihre Gedankengänge waren erneut spannend und unterhaltsam und ich finde sie nach wie vor einfach sympathisch. Ich konnte ihre Handlungsweise sehr gut nachvollziehen. War sie in den ersten Teilen noch hauptsächlich durch ihre Verlustängste geprägt, hat sie nun gelernt, Menschen wieder an sich heran zu lassen. Und natürlich gibt sie alles, damit ihre Freunde in Sicherheit sind. Sie ist tough und stark, und natürlich talentiert, vor allem ihre Magiefähigkeiten sind einfach faszinierend und entfalten hier ihr volles Potential.
Neben Lila gibt es natürlich auch noch andere Charaktere. Einer meiner Lieblinge seit dem ersten Band ist eindeutig der etwas verschrobene Mo, Lilas Hehler, der mittlerweile auch im Hause Sinclair seinen Platz gefunden hat. Er ist kauzig und ein bisschen zwielichtig und war mir mit seiner Art einfach sympathisch. Denn er würde es zwar niemals zugeben, aber Lila ist im so wichtig wie eine Tochter. Ans Herz gewachsen ist mir auch Oscar, der kleine Pixie, der Lila schon ganz schön auf Trab hält aber in diesem Band eine wichtige Rolle einnimmt.
Und dann ist da natürlich auch noch Devon. Er ist verantwortungsbewusst, stark und opferbereit, wenn es um seine Familie geht. In diesem Band hat außerdem das Loch Ness, das unter der Brücke haust, einen Platz in meinem Herzen gewonnen. Es war irgendwie niedlich.
Und dann ist da natürlich auch noch Devon. Er ist verantwortungsbewusst, stark und opferbereit, wenn es um seine Familie geht. In diesem Band hat außerdem das Loch Ness, das unter der Brücke haust, einen Platz in meinem Herzen gewonnen. Es war irgendwie niedlich.

“Black Blade – Die helle Flamme der Magie“ ist ein actionreiches Finale mit einer guten Mischung. Das Spannunglevel ist durchgehend hoch und entläd sich schließlich in einer magischen Explosion, die ihr euch nicht entghen lassen solltet.
