Über das Buch
Tja, was soll ich sagen? „Sommerflüstern“ ist mein erster Roman von Tanja Voosen und ich bin hin und weg. Sommerflüstern steckt voller Humor, klasse Charakteren und einer spannenden Handlung. Es gibt prickelnde und ernste Momente, viele, in denen ich vor Lachen fast vom Stuhl gefallen wäre und vor allem jede Menge bissige Dialoge.
Die beiden Hauptprotagonisten Taylor und Hunter sind einfach cool und ein extrem ungewöhnliches Paar. Taylor ist mir mit ihrer ernsten und etwas rebellischen Art sofort ans Herz gewachsen und ich mochte vor allem, dass sie mal nicht die Standardschönheit ist, dabei aber extrem clever und nicht auf den Mund gefallen. Und auch Hunter ist einfach ein cooler Typ, der es ständig auf so wunderbare Weise schafft, Taylor auf die Palme zu bringen, dass man ihn einfach gerne haben muss.
Die Story ist gut durchdacht, locker, aber doch mit einem ernsten Unterton und das Ende war besonders Spannend. Die Suche nach Antworten zieht sich wie ein roter Fade durch die ganze Geschichte und dabei entwickeln sich sowohl Taylor als auch Hunter weiter, wobei sie sich gegenseitig unterstützen. Nach Längen sucht man hier vergeblich, und ich habe jede Seite förmlich inhaliert.
Fazit
Sommerflüstern ist einfach ein genialer Roman der mich auf jeder Seite begeistert hat. Dabei hat sie viel mehr als eine lockere Liebesgeschichte zu bieten und wartet vor allem mit viel Humor, sympathischen Charakteren und einer tollen Handlung auf. Absolute Leseempfehlung von mir.
